Responsibilities
- Enforces regulations and procedures designed to prevent security breaches.
- Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection.
- Carry all applicable licenses/permits.
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned
- One year of security experience; or,
- Four years of military or National Guard experience; or,
- Successful completion of a state certified Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST) course.
- State security license.
- Must possess United States citizenship.
- Successfully complete Federal Protective Services medical and physical testing prior to hire.
- Must speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English.
- Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
