Chere Amie Yacht Charters is looking for a smart, friendly, and professional captain to drive the Chere Amie yacht in San Diego Bay! We specialize in both private and public cruises and pride ourselves on having a professional and high-energy work environment.

Qualifications:

-Minimum 100 ton master license(MPT), FCC and TWIC cards, CPR and first aid training

-At least 2 years of experience driving a 100 ton boat

-Great knowledge and experience operating boats of this size, and understanding of equipment use

-Excellent communication, customer service, administrative and problem-solving skills, knowledge of maritime laws and procedures, and ability to work under pressure.

-Possesses knowledge of San Diego Bay and popular/famous sites in the area

-Comfortable greeting and talking with guests in a friendly and polite manner

This position is currently part-time, although there is potential for full-time employment. We currently hold our cruises/events mainly on weekends and will need our captains to have open availability on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We enforce a drug free work environment and this position requires participation in a random drug and alcohol test program.
