The role of a cloud solution architect involves assessing technical needs and capabilities during implementation. Solutions architects utilize analytical approaches to understand various technologies and topics relevant to a business. This deep understanding enables them to develop effective solutions tailored to specific requirements.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Estimated Starting Salary Range for Cloud Solution Architect: Pay commensurate with experience.
• Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.

Cloud Solution Architect Responsibilities Include:

• Evaluate the technical requirements of projects or initiatives and determine the appropriate cloud solutions to meet those needs.
• Assess the existing technical capabilities of an organization and identify areas for improvement or optimization through cloud adoption.
• Utilize analytical skills to analyze complex technical problems and devise innovative solutions using cloud technologies.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of various technologies and topics relevant to the business, including cloud computing, networking, security, data management, and compliance regulations.
• Design and architect cloud-based solutions that address specific business requirements, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Plan and oversee the integration of cloud solutions with existing systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring seamless interoperability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and stakeholders, to align technical solutions with business objectives and requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to project teams and stakeholders throughout the implementation process, ensuring successful execution of cloud solutions.
• Identify potential risks associated with cloud implementations and develop strategies to mitigate them, including security vulnerabilities, data privacy concerns, and compliance issues.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Cloud Solution Architect Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

• Cloud Certificate.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform Cloud Platform, including familiarity with their services, architecture, and best practices.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud architectures to meet business requirements, considering factors such as performance, security, compliance, and scalability.
• Proficiency in a variety of cloud computing technologies, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, and identity management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify complex technical challenges and devise innovative solutions using cloud technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to diverse stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
