Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet guests when they enter the outlet, determine what comps, points, or awards guests have, and finally complete the payment transaction through the POS system.
• Determine the size of the party and any special seating needs, and work with their team to locate and assist guests to their seating/table.
• Thank guests as they exit the buffet and assist with any final guest needs or questions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area including the cashier box, dining room, and service stations.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) months customer service experience.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to take initiative and exhibit flexibility.
• Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, crawl, kneel, crouch, balance, etc. for extended periods.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms.
• Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
