Job Description
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Slot Technical Department.
•Continuously evaluate staffing levels per business demand, forecasts, and budgetary guidelines; ensuring necessary adjustments are made as needed.
•Manage Human Resources responsibilities for assigned department(s) to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment; adherence to the company's status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements.
•Responsible for the overall maintenance and performance of slot equipment.
•Interview, screen, and hire slot tech staff.
•Remain up to date on all advances in technology, associate with vendors, servicemen, etc.
•Maintain records of all machines on the casino floor, including par sheets, excess fills, machine moves, etc.
•Oversee staff training for new machine types.
•Generate all documentation for machine movement, conversions, and machine repairs according to local Gaming Regulations.
•Schedule all aspects of machine moves and/or conversions.
•Participate in all equipment moves.
•Respond to special requests from leadership.
•Orders and maintains inventory parts.
•Acts as liaison between vendors and the comp.
•Generates paperwork and oversees invoice payments for leased machines, parts, etc.
•Perform other job-related duties as requested.
SUPERVISION:
Assigned direct reports
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
•Two (2) years of prior relevant experience
PREFERRED:
•At least three (3) years of experience in Slot Maintenance and Slot Floor Installation
•Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
•Extensive Knowledge in all aspects of gaming device technology
•Proficient in using a computer, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Excellent customer service skills.
•Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
•Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written forms.
