Lake Cherokee is seeking applications for professional security personnel to work as full time Lake Patrol Officers. Starting Pay $18.00 to 19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Lake Cherokee is an excellent place of employment in which their patrolmen perform an extremely varied role from water safety, environmental compliance and care, policing, associated wildlife protection and enforcement responsibilities, first responder/EMR duties, various associated common security tasks, varmint and pest control, disturbances, vehicular accidents, and code violations among many other additional responsibilities for 51 miles of Lake road, 3987 surface acres of water, and the established 1500 shareholder lots on property.

Preferences: Current Level III commission, Current TCOLE license, Prior Security and/or LEO experience, EMT, Prior affiliation with state forestry and or park programs

Qualified applicants must be eligible to obtain a Level III Security Commission from the State of Texas, eligible to obtain an EMR certification, and be comfortable operating watercraft of various types – training will be provided if necessary.

Regardless of experience, selectees will undergo at a minimum six-eight weeks of paid training before actually beginning work.
