JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for professional development, budget, communications, management of documents and systems, staffing, data tracking and crisis support for the Mental Health Department. The Partner is an essential member of the Mental Health Leadership Team
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The subsequent duties outline the fundamental operations of the position and exemplify the nature of the tasks carried out. They do not encompass a comprehensive inventory of the obligations and responsibilities fulfilled in this role. Job Task Descriptions Frequency Percentage of Time
1.
Collaborate with the mental health leadership team, develop and manage department meetings and other professional development opportunities for 200 school social workers, school psychologists, interns and contractors. Manage and track PL HUB courses. Complete Mental Health Assessments for Evaluation inventory. Manage grant purchasing and Partner with mental health coordinators to support the onboarding process for new mental health hires, including orientation, participation in the Mental Health Academy, and ongoing support as needed Daily 35%

Screen and schedule interviews for all open positions. Coordinate document management for interviews and hiring. Develop and coordinate coverage plans for vacant mental health positions and leaves of absence. Evaluate and provide direct support to district wide mental health float positions and contract mental health providers. Organize and facilitate recruitment opportunities to attract qualified candidates to join the mental health team. Daily 30%
3.
Complete Mental Health Resource Fund Invoicing. Manage the Mental Health Assessments Inventory and grant purchasing. Weekly 10%
4.
Facilitate interdepartmental communication to strengthen partnerships and enhance collaboration across district departments, including internal mental health weekly newsletter. Communicate celebrations with the Mental Health department and collaborate with CCSD Communications for department marketing and storytelling. Weekly 5%

Manage documents and website with Mental Health handbook and directory. Streamline and update the Google Drive and/or Office 365.

Analyze staffing trends and provide evidence-based data to support staffing decisions. Analyze safety data (Suicide Risk Reviews, Threat Assessment Interview Protocols)

Manage document preparation and support (coordinate food and other resources for communities experiencing a crisis

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS : This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.
  • Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
  • Master's degree
  • Five (5) years of professional work experience
  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in schools
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) license
  • Experience in leadership roles
  • Experience in developing, planning and executing professional development opportunities
