Chesapeake RV Solutions is a RV Dealership with a mission to help people create memories they will talk about forever by way of camping and traveling in a RV. Our team consists of RV owners and enthusiasts and we're looking for amazing and MOTIVATED individuals that WANT TO BECOME CERTIFIED RV SERVICE TECHNICIANS to join our growing team. Individuals who have the aptitude and mechanical ability to learn quickly and become certified. We have a number of team members skillfully servicing RVs with excellence who have made it possible for hundreds of our customers to enjoy their RVs. What are we looking for?

• Mechanical and diagnostic skill set with 2 years of service technical experience and skilled in one or more basic operations: 12v/110AC electrical system, LP, refrigeration, AC, water heater, furnace, fresh water system, holding tank system, carpentry, or electric and surge brakes. If you do not have the experience, please do not apply.
• Ability to read and implement instructions. There is no adding or skipping steps. That never really works out.
• Ability to climb up and down steps and ladders and crawl under RVs.
• Hardiness and resilience to work in changing climates and work outside for extended periods. Piece of cake for the Outdoors-man & woman.
• People who enjoy people. Yes, you will be interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere. We serve each other and our customers.
• Motivation to participate in on-site training and off-site training and take tests for certification and maintaining certification. Certification means pay raise.
• Own adequate tools. This means more than just a hammer and a screw driver. Tool bonus upon three months of employment here.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required. RVs are bigger than cars and trucks.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to have a Pre-employment Background Check and a Drug Test. We are a drug free work place. Safety is priority here.

What will you be doing here?

• Trouble shooting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motor homes in a timely manner and with excellent quality control .
• Tracking parts and materials used in repairs.
• Performing pre-delivery inspections.
• Working outside in the elements.
• Climbing up and down steps and ladders frequently.
• Crawling under RVs frequently.
• Cleaning and detailing RVs.
• Instructing customer's on use of the RVs.
• *Getting training and education to become a RV Service Technician Level I in twelve months.* Certification means pay raise.
• Helping people create memories.
• Working in a team atmosphere. We genuinely serve each other and our customers.
• Of course, preparing and learning to get certifications and continue maintaining certifications. Can you do these things with excellence?
