We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavior management, direct support, and patient care in settings such as nursing homes or senior care facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Respect and uphold resident rights and confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in senior care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and direct support practices
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and patient care procedures
- Understanding of resident rights and confidentiality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with residents, families, and colleagues
