Chestnut offers educational assistance for employees earning qualifying degrees in nursing. (Restrictions apply.)
Responsibilities:Support medical staff members. Screen potential patients via phone. Help with admissions. Schedule, greet, and room patients. Gather health and hospital histories. Record information in electronic medical record. Help with medical exams. Take and document vital signs. Gather non-blood specimens. Monitor self-administration of medications. Provide health education and teaching to patients and families. Help patients and families to complete paperwork. Pull and file charts, prepare communication materials. Transport patients to outside appointments as needed.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of CNA or MA training program. Current CMA or CNA certification. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Basic computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record. Ability to assist in a variety of common medical and medical office procedures. Valid drivers, license, private auto insurance, and ability to be insured.
