We are looking for a Data Scientist III at our facility in Plantation, Florida to conceptualize, formulate, prototype, and implement an integrated framework for assessing casual relationships across variables and metrics in our supply chain network.
What You'll Do:
- Design experiments using advanced simulation capabilities and A/B testing.
- Be a subject matter expert in basic and advanced statistical techniques.
- Deep dive big Supply Chain data to explain change, find hidden opportunity, and provide recommendations.
- Implement process improvement initiatives that drive change to metrics and streamline the Supply Chain.
- Develop algorithms and scripts for production systems.
- Be a subject matter expert for Supply Chain data and processes.
- Partner with Supply Chain's functional areas (Supply Planning, Network Planning, Demand Planning, and Transportation) to provide insight and promote action.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field and 4 years of experience.
- Experience must include the following: developing and implementing causal inference, counterfactual reasoning, intervention analysis, and machine learning solutions for large scale applications;
- Python/R;
- SQL;
- Advanced mathematics and statistics;
- Translating complex data sets and research into simple business recommendations;
- Navigating complex frameworks and coordinating with IT and BI business partners;
- Using collaborative tools (Git and Confluence);
- Supply Chain, E-commerce, retail, or startup experience;
- Operations research; and
- Industrial engineering fundamentals.
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
