Chicago Family Health Center is Hiring a Community Service Aide Near Chicago, IL

Job Title: Community Service Aide
Compensation (Based on experience and qualifications) $16.00 - $18.00
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with a Saturday Rotation 8:00am - 1:00pm
We are seeking a Community Service Aide to join our team and help us provide excellent healthcare services to our patients. As a Community Service Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients are treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism. You will be responsible for greeting patients, logging in their arrival, and directing them to the appropriate department or staff. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
  • Screen all visitors and direct them to the appropriate area, department or staff
  • Process all patients arriving for care according to current protocols, and referring them to staff as necessary
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Interact with patients in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Provide assistance to patients with special needs or disabilities
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
  • a minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
  • a minimum of one (1) year of front desk or customer service experience
  • Previous experience utilizing an Electronic Practice Management System is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Education and Experience

  • Ability to follow organization and departmental processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a high stress/fast paced/high work volume environment.
