This is for a Dual position as a Front Desk Patient Coordinator and Billing Coordinator in our busy fast paced facility. This candidate must be able to multi task and work under pressure.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical office preferably in Radiology.

The hours for this position are a rotation monthly Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm/ 9am to 5:30pm/9:30 to 6pm. 2 Fridays a month from 9:30 to 6pm

May need to cover a Saturday shift from 8-2pm on occasion.

· Excellent customer service and telephone skills

· Ability to communicate professionally with patients, insurance representatives and co-workers

· Must have the ability to work independently

· Must be dependable and reliable

· Ability to read and understand EOB's involving adjustments, COB, non-allowed amounts, co-payments, etc.

· Ensure registration form is complete and up to date, updating patient accounts when needed.

· Verifying physician orders and contact patient to schedule appoints with the appropriate prep

· Team player and willing to assist answering phone calls and scheduling appointments

· Entering charges and posting payments

· Claim follow up on Accounts Receivable for all insurances

· Knowledge of insurance company reimbursement procedures and practices

· Knowledge of CPT and ICD 10 coding and medical terminology

· Kareo EMR and Availity knowledge helpful

· Working denials, appeals and rejections

· Verification of eligibility

· Verifying prior authorizations

· Ensuring billing accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
