POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee assignments of cottage Behavioral Health Technicians to ensure coordination, consistency and delivery of quality care and coverage. Assists in providing direct care supervision to adolescent youth (residents), ages 12 to 21 within a co-ed, LGBTQ group home, congregate care setting. Participates in trauma-informed interactions, guidance, intervention, and role modeling while monitoring youth behavior according to program guidelines. Participates in therapeutic interaction, guidance, support, and role modeling to residents while monitoring resident behavior according to program guidelines. Fosters and creates positive relationships and communications with team members, residents, resident families, and visitors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education:
High School Diploma or GED with one to two years’ experience in a social services position. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required:
1) Must have and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
2) Maintain a valid and unexpired Fingerprint Clearance Card
3) Able to obtain CPR (adult and infant), CPI and First Aid certification, before working alone.
Other:
Ability to work a flexible schedule required to fulfill duties of position; this may include days, nights, evenings, and/or weekends; including assisting with coverage at other campuses within the agency. At times, individuals must work in a fast-paced environment to handle and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands and seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.
