At Chick-fil-A, Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the leadership team in all aspects of shift leadership and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an UpLifting experience.

Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a leader;

following established opening and closing procedures. Shift Leader roles include :

FOH Leaders :

• Ensure that workstations are clean at all times.
• Executes proper security and cash handling and control procedures and holds cashiers accountable to adhering to policies and procedures.

BOH Leaders :

• Ensure that Team Members follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
• Ensure that Team Members are extremely accurate with weights and measurements for all recipe items.
• Ensure that workstations are clean at all times.

Drive-Thru / Mobile / Curbside & Traffic Leaders These roles are essential and must work synergistically

• Ensure the safety, efficiency, and traffic flow of our busy drive-thru.
• Welcomes our guests to our drive-thru, and effectively communicates with team members.
• Ensures the drive-thru is constantly moving and vehicle gaps are safe.
• Always greeting and thanking our guests for joining us.

Facilities & Maintenance Leaders

• Ensure that workstations are clean at all times.
• Ensure that Team Members monitor dining room, restroom, parking lot and overall facility cleanliness.
• Ensure the proper monitoring, storing and management of inventory and supporting the team with stocking updates.
• May include technical assignments for specialized workforce in electrical, plumbing, and other forms of ad-hoc handiwork.

MUST BE VACCINATED

• Minimum 18 years old
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Previous leadership experience an asset
• Honest, Friendly, Team-Oriented, Hard-working professional that exhibits great customer service attitude
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
• Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills required
• Works in hot, noisy, and fast paced environment
• Mobility required during shifts
• Must work well under pressure
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
