Overview

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Chick-fil-A exists to improve business decisions across the organization by supporting the allocation of capital to its most productive use through planning, budgeting, forecasting and business partnership. 

This role on the Corporate FP&A team will work very closely with the Sr. Principal Program Lead of Planning Systems & Processes to ideate, innovate, implement, execute, and manage enterprise-wide financial planning processes, including the design and implementation of planning processes and systems. This individual will be responsible for creating, communicating, and delivering planning process resources and updates to Department FP&A, as well as other planning partners, to ensure alignment both within and external to FP&A. This role requires a strong understanding of company strategy, goals and workstreams and will ultimately impact processes for the entire organization as we design and execute annual financial processes and systems for the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sr. Principal Program Lead to innovate, develop, and manage enterprise-wide financial planning processes.
• Provide thought input and assist in design and execution of various financial planning processes including the “essential” exercise, project intake, planning level of detail, forecasting, general & administrative expenses, and reallocation of resources.
• Serve on Planning Process Optimization project team and speak into design, testing, change management, and integration of processes with Oracle Planning
• Design, create, and curate resources for both Corporate and Department FP&A, with a goal to foster increased financial planning alignment, clarity, and efficiency within both FP&A and the broader Chick-fil-A organization.
• Communicate with Corporate Performance Insights team to ensure proper visuals, dashboards and self-service tools are in place to support the planning process
• Partner with Department FP&A to communicate financial planning process vision, requirements, and updates, aligning financial activities to the enterprise planning process.
• Assist Sr. Principal Program Lead in determining recommended accountability levels for corporate budget processes and outcomes.
• Understand and monitor FP&A trends and tools to continue to drive forward Chick-fil-A’s FP&A planning objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess a strong enterprise-wide mindset
• Experience managing multiple business partners and deadlines
• 5-7 years’ experience
• Strong preference for candidate with prior experience with Chick-fil-A’s planning processes
