GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that all food items are plated, presented and garnished correctly before they leave the kitchen to ensure that the orders arrive to the guests in a proper and timely manner while following all safety and health requirements. Constantly maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure that all kitchen standards are being met; i.e., timing, quality and presentation.
• Responsible for set up and restocking of expediter station.
• Maintain cleanliness of outside service line.
• Responsible for garnishing and assembling the appropriate side dishes for each plate presentation; condiments, etc.
• Completes opening/closing checklists daily.
• Takes earned breaks daily.
• Check with a manager/lead prior to taking break.
• Provides helpful, positive and engaging communication to front of the house staff.
• Checks out with a lead/manager before leaving.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary school background helpful.
• Able to perform simple mathematics.
• Read instructions and comprehend instructions given in English.
• Two years restaurant experience.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and detail oriented.
• Always remains professional and works well with others.
• Able to obtain and maintain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Able to lift 20 pounds, 10 pounds overhead.
• Able to stand for an entire shift with periodic breaks and fully extend arms over head.

Full Time, Hourly Position

Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $23.00 per hour
