Child and Family Advocacy Program dba Blue Sky Bridge is Hiring an Administrative and Program Support Specialist Near Boulder, CO

Location: Boulder, CO - On-Site Required

Pay Range: $46,000-$54,000 per year, differential for fluent Spanish speakers

Anticipated Start: July, 2024

Schedule: 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, with occasional evening hours and occasional weekend hours for organization events

ABOUT BLUE SKY BRIDGE

Blue Sky Bridge is Boulder County’s non-profit Child Advocacy Center, committed to addressing and eradicating child abuse and creating lasting change in our community. We have three programs: Prevention Education, Intervention, and Therapy. We use a child-focused approach to abuse investigations in partnership with law enforcement, social services and the District Attorney’s office. Blue Sky Bridge provides skilled forensic interviews and medical exams of children as well as crisis counseling and support to non-offending caregivers, therapy for children and families, and education programs to increase community awareness and to empower the community to prevent sexual abuse of children. Blue Sky Bridge is a well-established organization in Boulder County with a strong base of financial support.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for data and projects throughout the organization while providing some general administrative support as well. Responsibilities include: managing data reporting through several platforms and Blue Sky Bridge teams, assisting with intern recruiting and logistics, assisting with IT projects, and other projects as assigned. This is an integral role to ensure all functions run effectively and efficiently. The Project and Administrative Coordinator will also directly support the work our organization does by providing as-needed case support for our intervention and therapy teams.

Like all current staff, the Project and Administrative Coordinator will support a variety of efforts, and must be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and have the ability to work independently. This position is ideal for someone who is excellent at multitasking and has an interest in learning non-profit administration and has an interest in directly supporting our mission. No task is too small as we all understand that all responsibilities get us closer to our mission.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Support

  • Intervention Team Support:
    • Providing back up Case Support
      • Case preparation/set up by greeting clients and orienting them to the facility.
      • Conduct purposeful play and provide companionable playroom supervision to children during an appointment as needed.
    • Helping to maintain accurate client records, including assisting in biweekly audits.
    • Providing intern recruiting and logistics.
  • Therapy Team Support
    • Sending quarterly post-therapy surveys.
    • Working with the Clinical Director to grow and manage the therapist referral list.

Development Team Support

  • Manage Salesforce donor database, ensuring data integrity, identifying fundraising opportunities and supplying reports.

Office Support

  • Providing backup IT support as needed and assisting with an upcoming system transition.
  • Ordering and organizing supplies for all teams and areas.

Project Support

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of data and documentation for accreditation.
  • Special projects and other tasks as capacity allows.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 2 years work experience with preference given to those with nonprofit experience.
  • Commitment to our mission and belief in the value of nonprofits as drivers of social justice, benefits, and change.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and documents with discretion.
  • Must be flexible and open to changing priorities while managing multiple projects.
  • Detail-oriented, high attention to detail & organized.
  • Strong computer skills, including competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google and Dropbox, as well as the ability to manipulate pdf forms and other add-ons and programs as necessary.
  • Ability to skillfully work in a group or independently.
  • Physical ability to move between buildings, lift 20lbs, and go up and down stairs.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Ability to speak & write in both English and Spanish, fluently.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed work environments and cultural humility.
  • Awareness of, and strategies for coping with, stress and/or vicarious trauma.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Blue Sky Bridge is committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits. This position is salaried, with a starting range of $46,000-$54,000, depending upon experience.
  • Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/Life and AD&D, Parental Leave, Wellness Benefits, and Training opportunities.
  • First year PTO accrues monthly at a rate of 17 vacation days per year plus sick days. Blue Sky Bridge also recognizes 12 paid holidays per year.
