GENERAL DUTIES
Performs repairs / safety checks on non-patient equipment.
Enters supply rooms on nursing units as needed to perform necessary job functions. Refrains from manipulating or removing any intravenous fluids that are stored in the area.
General knowledge of hospital operations. Inspects fire / smoke-rated doors and wall partitions for compliance with NFPA standards.
Conducts routine environmental and safety rounds.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic / technician in a corporate setting.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Driver's License - Class E - Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles
