A Brief Overview
Under the direction of the Director, Medical Staff Affairs, performs complex diversified administrative, operational and strategic functions. Must be able to supervise medical staff and graduate medical education coordinators. Must have full working knowledge of the Joint Commission medical staff standards as well as other regulatory agency requirements related to credentialing and privileging of licensed independent practitioners, allied health practitioners and graduate medical education trainees functioning as members of the medical staff. Must be able to meet deadlines, work on several projects at once, and understand all of the concepts involved in the work performed. Must be able to work autonomously and make independent judgments.
