Position Type: Teaching - (37.5) - 8:30 to 5:00 - 1 hr
Education Level: Child Development Associate (CDA) and 12
Salary Range: $17.49 - $18.43 Hourly
Job Shift: Day 37.5 Hours Per Week

Description

Join a collaborative environment of Early Childhood Professionals at Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC). CLC provides high quality programs for children birth through 5 throughout the City of Stamford complete with comprehensive services for the nearly thousand children served on a daily basis.

We are currently interviewing candidates for Full Time and Part Time Assistant Teacher positions. Required qualifications for these positions are exclusive to those who have earned:

Assistant Teacher – Preschool:

  • Current CDA (Child Development Associate – Preschool or Infant Toddler Setting), and/or
  • 12 credits specific to *Early Childhood Education, or
  • CT 30 credit *Early Childhood Certificate

Experience in a Head Start or NAEYC Accredited program not required, but preferred. Hourly rate based on the amount of education and experience a candidate has.

Rate: $17.49 to $18.43

*Since CLC comprises of publicly funded programs, education verification is required in the form of certificate and/or transcripts. Unfortunately coursework in general education, elementary education, and/or secondary education cannot be considered.
