Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Certification¨ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, A.A. degree preferred
¨ Ability to develop healthy relationships and establish clear boundaries in a group setting
¨ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet-based computer skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Facilitate the Teen Outreach Program in accordance with the training received from the Children Network and Wyman within Circuit 20.
¨ Ability to become trained as Teen Outreach Program facilitator.
¨ Provide continuing contact support to designated TOP teens (maintaining their school and community service information, keeping them connected to the program, serving as a liaison with their parent/guardian) through email, phone calls, and personal interaction.
¨ Maintain healthy and appropriate relationship with TOP teens, focusing on safety, support, interaction, and engagement.
¨ Participate in TOP program evaluation and continual quality improvement activities by completion of facilitator survey and ensuring teens complete pre and post surveys.
¨ Participate in recruitment and ongoing development of partners providing the Teen Outreach Program.
¨ Assist Coordinator as needed in daily job functions.
2. Facilitate lesson from the approved curriculum during TOP.
¨ Participate in planning for TOP sessions through participation in weekly staff meetings.
¨ Facilitate planning and implementation of community service activities and lessons with TOP teens.
Certificates, License, Registrations, backgrounds, drug screens, Etc.
¨ Valid driver’s license required, with proof of insurance
¨ Driver’s license check is a requirement
¨ No special certification or registration is required for this position
¨ Criminal background screening (fingerprinting) (Local Law Enforcement and FBI/FDLE)
¨ Drug Screening is a requirement
¨ Children’s Network participates in E-Verify
