SummaryJob Summary
Responsible for working with leadership and staff in assigned customer service zones to achieve a culture of service excellence across the organization and the continuum of care.
Rounding on all newly admitted families, providing family with relevant information about Children’s of Alabama.
Coordinating and presenting service training for staff and initiating and managing service recovery efforts.
Generate reports in RL Solution/Children’s 360 – Feedback system in accordance with CMS and TJC guidelines.
Responsible for review and follow up of NRC Service Alerts for assigned customer service zones or as requested by the Director of Patient Relations.
Coordinating urgent and impromptu meetings with patient/families - providers to resolve urgent situations.
Proactively work with leadership of assigned customer service zones to identify opportunities to improve the patient’s experience.
Be a champion for Service Excellence and the Patient Experience.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Patient Relations Director.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Science related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years in healthcare customer service environment, in absence of bachelor's in Human Science or related field.
ExperienceThree years experience in customer relations desirable.
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
