The Client Account Specialist, Commercial Lines Insurance assists in the management of accounts under the direction of their Lead, Client Account Executives and Advisor teams. Working closely with the Insurance Advisors and Client Account Executives, this role is responsible for various administrative tasks that include by not limited to data entry, customer service, tracking and reviewing documentation, mail, phones, and other administrative duties.
Responsibilities

• Administrative support with the management of client accounts.
• Timely and accurate completion of tasks, basic product knowledge.
• Administrative support with the management of client accounts, primarily with the technical system and data entry duties.
• Operational support for book of business, completing tasks timely and accurately to ensure compliance, organizational and client needs are met.
• Ongoing product support of client inquiries.
• Promote the #PeopleFirst delivery of customer service with clients and have a basic knowledge of insurance products.
• Checks new business policies, renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
• Creates and generates reports upon request.
• Assists with billing and payment inquiries.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assists and administers departmental projects, including process improvement, procedure creation and implementation.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in related field of study or 4 years combination of education and/or insurance experience.
• Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licensing required within 60 days of hire.
• Holds knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the insurance field.
• Ability to assist with departmental projects.
• Performs assigned duties within the department and focuses primarily on day to day technical/operational tasks.
• Works under direct supervision.
