Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in their daily routines and activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established protocols and resident rights
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassion and empathy towards individuals in need of care
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
