Choice NY Property Management is Hiring a Building Super - Part Time 30 Hours weekly Near New York, NY

Building Superintendent - 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday 6 hours per day - Live out position

The position is fundamental to the administrative and operational functions of the Company and Property and requires established organizational skills, with attention to detail, solid time management, and good interpersonal skills.

General Responsibilities:

This small building does not have a porter; Super will be handling those duties as well
Standpipe certification preferred
Drywall and painting experience
Light electrical experience preferred
As the key employee of the building operations interior and exterior, the Superintendent is essential to the longevity of all equipment and the aesthetic nature of the property. The Superintendent must perform the job duties with a professional and competent image: Service to the customer in a friendly and outgoing manner is also essential, while timelines and maintaining a clean atmosphere are key.
The ideal candidate will have handyman skills.
Ensuring the building is clean and presentable.
Trash removal; making sure there is no debris on the property including the street in front of the building.
The position is fundamental to all mechanical functions of the community and includes working closely with the Property Manager.
Strong leadership skills, customer service skills, technical skills, and problem solving abilities are required.
Employee reports directly to the Property Manager.
Excellent English communication skills are required.
Must be available in case of emergency.
