General Ledger Responsibilities

You regularly reconcile bank accounts, loan balances, and prepaid assets, adjusting as needed. A large portion of your time is also dedicated to posting journal entries, including standard, recurring, and manual entries.

Plant Responsibilities
Most of your time is spent processing and reviewing work orders, ensuring that material, overhead, and contractor costs are properly allocated. You post transactions in construction and retirement work order accounts and verify that all assembly units and CPRs (Continuing Property Records) are correctly assigned.
You also focus on reviewing service orders and correcting errors, making sure financial updates flow correctly through the system. A significant part of your role involves managing cost allocations for substations, creating assets in Asset Management, and ensuring that vehicle and transportation costs are properly distributed.
Additionally, you handle accident/damage claim invoices, ensuring they are processed and followed up on for payment. When needed, you work on voided or abandoned work orders, ensuring proper adjustments and transfers are made before closing them.
