Christ Chapel Bible Church is Hiring a 5th-8th Pastor Near Willow, TX
Role’s MissionBecause helping middle schoolers take the next step in their walk with Jesus is essential to them becoming fully mature Christ followers, the 5-8th Pastor will be the Ambassador, Team Builder and Primary Communicator for all aspects for the Middle School Ministry:
Role’s Reporting RelationshipThis position reports directly to the West Campus Associate Pastor.
Role’s Requirements
- As the Ambassador for the middle school ministry, you will create an environment where students want to belong because they are known, cared for, and challenged to take the next step in their faith. You will also partner with parents to equip them to foster faith formation at home. To reach more students for Christ you will also build bridges to schools and the community.
- As the Team Builder, you will recruit, train and encourage a team of staff and leaders who are committed to the vision of reaching middle schoolers for Jesus and discipling them in their faith. You will multiply yourself so that every student has an adult who knows them and is helping them take the next step in their faith. You will also be the standard bearer for a healthy leadership culture.
- As the Primary Communicator, you will connect the word of God to the hearts of middle schoolers so they can apply it to their everyday lives. You’ll see to it that all teaching and curriculum in the ministry is Biblical, creative and age-appropriate for middle schoolers.
Role’s Reporting RelationshipThis position reports directly to the West Campus Associate Pastor.
Role’s Requirements
- Must be a Christian with an Elder-qualified character (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9)
- Must be a maturing believer who is obviously, consistently and increasingly manifesting the fruit of the Spirit in their daily walk with Christ (Galatians 5:22-23)
- Must embrace our church’s doctrinal position and constitution without reservation and be an advocate of our philosophy of ministry both in public and in private
- PREFERRED a bachelor’s degree or seminary degree and a minimum of 2 years church or parachurch experience in a similar field
- This role is required to work several trips that involve overnight stays of multiple days.
- This role leads 2 distinct weekly programs.
