Christ Lutheran Learning Center is Hiring a Full Time Preschool Teacher Near Baltimore, MD

Job Summary:
Christ Lutheran Learning Center, located in Federal Hill, Baltimore, MD., is seeking a Preschool Teacher to work full time beginning August 2024. We are looking for an early childhood education professional to educate and care for children, two-years-old.

Duties include leading activities in cognitive, social, fine motor and gross motor skills, and keeping the classroom clean and safe.

Candidates should be nurturing, patient, and knowledgeable about child development and developmentally appropriate practices.

Required Qualifications: MSDE Certified

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of two-year-old children.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to foster open communication and involvement in their child's education.
- Assess student progress through observation, assessment tools, and ongoing documentation.

Experience:
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior.

Skills:
- Curriculum development: Skill in designing age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
- Early intervention: Knowledge of strategies for identifying and addressing developmental delays or challenges early on.
- Classroom management: Proficiency in creating a structured and organized learning environment that promotes positive behavior and engagement.
- Lesson planning: Skill in designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet educational objectives.
- Childcare: Understanding of the unique needs and care required for young children.

- Educate: Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Toddler care: Ability to provide nurturing care and support to children in the toddler age group.
