We are currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of all Christian Family Solutions office and clinic buildings. This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; short- and long-term disability coverage; a 401(k) plan with employer match; life insurance; and Paid Time Off. 

What you will be doing:

In accordance with the mission and vision of Christian Family Solutions, the Facilities Manager ensures that our facilities provide a safe, secure, and clean environment for clients and employees. Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, developing maintenance schedules to keep our properties in excellent working order, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The role also involves overseeing vendors and contractors, regularly reviewing facility maintenance expenses, managing the facilities budget, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Primarily based in the Germantown and Milwaukee areas, this position requires occasional travel to clinic locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota on a quarterly basis. Additionally, the Facilities Manager must be prepared to respond to urgent maintenance calls as needed.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in facilities management, business administration or related field, along with proven experience in facilities management or related roles - preferably with a multi-site employer
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Experience planning and maintaining facility budgets
  • Experience and skills in the following areas: general HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills, allowing for ability to perform routine maintenance across a broad spectrum of issues.
  • Must have a valid State of Wisconsin driver's license and clean driving record. 
  • Ability to travel to facility locations in Wisconsin and Minnesota as needed.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. 
  • Skills to comprehend blueprint details and specifications. 
  • Ability to plan and schedule daily and weekly maintenance schedules. 
  • Possess personnel management skills, with experience in managing, motivating, training, and scheduling staff preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs 
  • Strong internal customer service skills and the ability to communicate proactively both in written and verbal form.
  • A high degree of self-directedness with strong attention to detail
