Christian Healthcare Ministries is Hiring a Member Bill Processing Assistant Supervisor Near Barberton, OH

The Member Bill Processing/Records Assistant Supervisor serves under and reports to the Supervisor for Records and Member Bill Processing. This position provides support to Member Records, Data Entry, and Authorization personnel in order to fulfill the larger mission of Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM). This individual must be Christ-centered, and a leader focused on the continued growth of individual employees as well as CHM. Recognizing that the overall health and growth of the ministry is directly related to those that serve it.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to set clear performance goals that align with the mission of CHM.
  • Assist in coaching/training Team Leads, providing both praise and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate vacations for Member Bill Processing and Member Records teams.
  • Assist the Supervisor in conducting performance reviews, motivating team members, and creating strategies for continued individual growth.
  • Assist the Supervisor in the management of payroll system needs.
  • Communicate necessary information effectively between departments.
  • Collaborate with other departments for ministry-wide development.
  • Organize and participate in regular team-building events.
  • Assign placement of new employees for Member Bill Processing/Member Records.
  • Participate in the development of Member Bill Processing/Records policies.
  • Monitor individual and department productivity.
  • Assist the Supervisor with various day-to-day tasks.
  • Monitor incoming needs to the ministry to assist in staffing projections.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to make necessary staffing adjustments.
  • Request IT assistance for necessary equipment, issue resolutions, and desk moves.
  • Assist with call de-escalations.
  • Monitor Team Lead huddle notes to ensure information is disseminated appropriately with a “one voice” mentality.
  • Assist the Supervisor in monitoring various General Manager pools to ensure needs are processed according to policy.
  • Collaborate with the Training team to ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

  • Previous management/leadership experience.
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter, holding oneself and the team accountable for accuracy and efficiency.
  • A servant leader willing to step in to do whatever is needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Responsive to the needs of the team and ministry.
  • Teachable and approachable.
  • Models CHM’s core values and mission statement.
  • Expert knowledge of the guidelines and employee handbook.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Professional appearance.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
