The Project Manager’s role is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. Their role involves coordinating and managing project resources, tracking project progress, identifying risks and issues, and ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Additionally, the Project Manager communicates regularly with project stakeholders, manages project budgets, and prepares project status reports. The Project Manager must possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and objectives, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic plans.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Coordinate project teams and assign tasks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress against plan and identify and manage risks and issues that may arise.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including regular status updates, project reports, and meetings.
  • Manage project finances, including budget tracking and cost control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance processes and procedures, including project approval and review processes.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Lead project change management, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate project outcomes and document lessons learned for continuous improvement of project management processes.

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Knowledge & proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge & proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Experienced in problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project issues and risks.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Related Knowledge & Experience Desired

  • Experience in leadership roles.
  • General knowledge of Change Management.

Education & Certifications Desired

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management information systems, project management, or related field.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)

Work Conditions
