Full-Time Plumbing Apprentice

Monday - Friday (7 am - 3:30 pm)

Holland Home

Under the supervision of the Holland Home Plumber, this candidate will focus on assisting the Plumber and Trade's Renovation Team by installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems and plumbing fixtures in buildings throughout Holland Home.

Principle Job duties:

• Maintains and repairs plumbing systems as needed.
• Know standards and regulations of the plumbing trade.
• Keeps supervisor informed of repairs needed and/or replacement of existing piping.
• Uses proper chemicals and correct mixtures.
• Makes effective use of department and Holland Home’s resources.
• Observes all safety practices and standards including wearing of required safety equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Some plumbing experience is preferred
• Clean criminal record
• Reliable transportation
• Experience in construction preferred
• Familiarity with common power tools and hand tools

Skills to be successful:

• Good communicator.
• Likes working with others.
• Comfortable working with mobile devices and apps.
• Analytical ability to assemble system components and identify system problems.
• Ability to meet Holland Home’s standards for attendance.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
