Title: Marketing Assistant FLSA: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing

STATUS: Part-Time Hourly Position

PAY: Commensurate with Experience

POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the marketing department and provides data support and assistance to the director of marketing in order to ensure that the vision, goals, objectives, and timelines of marketing projects and annual updates are realized.

Part-time position: 29 hours max per week. Hybrid work environment: two days in the office and two days of remote work.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist and support the day-to-day operations of the marketing department and provide a high level of customer service to other CSI departments.
• Provide data analysis of member data, job board posts, and donor information.
• Manage company’s CRM and flow of data updates to company website.
• Support with coordinating all departments’ digital and print projects, including scheduling deadlines and communicating project details and status of projects.
• Responsible for job board webpage and answering questions from posters and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Keep email lists up to date and provide quarterly analysis of marketing emails and website traffic. 
• Manage processes for collection of various member school data
• Support with development of social media plan, coordinate posts, write post copy, and schedule posts once approved.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related degree 
• Data entry, data analysis, and project management experience (1–2 years)
• Social media experience, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Asana is a plus
• Previous experience in a school-related setting is preferred
