Christiana Care is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to leadership and team in Nursing Professional Development and Education. Primary point of contact for internal and external interactions. Principal duties and responsibilities: Provides administrative support to the VP of Nursing Professional Development and Education including attending and taking minutes at meetings, composing agendas, drafting, and typing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and meeting rooms, maintaining up to date filing systems, screening incoming calls and taking accurate telephone messages, preparing power point presentations and Excel spreadsheets. Works closely with the Nursing Professional Development and Education VP and team members to ensure that the operations run smoothly and that there is prompt resolution of problems in a satisfactory manner. Complete data entry, photocopying, laminating, filing, and scanning. Create and keep accurate budgets for all our cost centers. Submit payroll. Submit and maintain accurate records for department contracts and PO’s. Make travel arrangement for the team when needed. Submit and approve expense reports. Make educational packets. Data entry for Crisis Prevention Intervention classes. Responsible for ordering supplies and catering when needed for courses. Utilize Resource scheduler to schedule meetings and make room reservations. Assist with special projects as needed. Assists with developing, coordinating, and evaluating competency programs in collaboration with Nursing Professional Development Specialists and identifies deficiencies in staff competency. Assists with utilizing adult learning principles and instructional design standards to develop and implement quality curriculum, focused on the achievement of excellent outcomes. Collaborates with interprofessional teams, leaders, stakeholders, and others to facilitate excellence and positive outcomes. Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients, and visitors. Performs other related duties as required. Hours: Day Shift Education and experience requirements: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Completion of a program in secretarial science or related field preferred. Four years administrative experience; preferably supporting an executive leader.
