The Christiana Hospital OR Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Rad Tech to work the day/evening shift. This individual will also work every 4th weekend with a rotating holiday schedule The successful candidate will be responsible for: Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties Assisting with the training of radiology technology students Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm Burn patient CD’s EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3 years’ experience as a staff technologist. Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required. Associates Degree in Radiology Science is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
