Supporting this mission, we seek a Campus Executive Director for our Newark Campus. This individual is the senior executive representing the campus and operationalizing the health system's strategy. Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Build a campus environment that recognizes and values diversity, is inclusive, and addresses the unique needs of a diverse workforce, patient population and community.
  • Ensures the organization vision, values, strategic goals, and objectives are operationalized on the campus resulting in high quality outcomes in an efficient, effective, and patient/caregiver centered environment.
  • Champions continuous improvement and a culture of problem solving and rapidly deploying solutions.
  • Influences and implements change and transformation, both strategic and operational.
  • Actively engages as a liaison with the community and local authorities/jurisdictions, to address patient needs with regards to access, patient experience, and needed services considering social determinants of health.
  • In conjunction with facilities & support services, provide oversight of the environment of care, including work with State Department of Health, CMS or deemed authority (i.e., Joint Commission), FDA, & local authorities having jurisdiction.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Master's degree required, preferably an MHA, MSN, MBA or related degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years results oriented experience in healthcare operations, financial management and development experience is required.
  • Progressive management experience in a hospital environment with success in matrixed operating structures.
  • Experience delivering results with a variety of partners driving outcomes through influence and collaboration.
