INVENTORY COORDINATOR, LOGISTICS (TEMP)

The Role
The purpose of the Inventory Control Coordinator role is to facilitate the clearance of aged Inventory from Christie’s warehouses. The Inventory Control Coordinator will follow the Inventory Control procedures to ensure Inventory is cleared in adherence to US law, tax regulations & Christie’s policies. The Inventory Control Coordinator represents Christie’s to clients, embodying the business’ core values and upholding our Client Service Standards. Their primary focus will be to communicate with Christie’s clients via telephone and email, so the person in this role should be driven to perform exceptional levels of client service.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Work with the Inventory Analyst to ensure data integrity is maintained at Rock and CFASS by regular reporting, analysis of data and assistance in inventory reconciliations conducted by the Logistics team.
Assist the Logistics supervisors/managers to identify and implement new warehouse reporting and processes to improve warehouse accuracy.
Support the Inventory Analyst in being the point of contact for miscellaneous BSG issues as they arise (new stock numbers, IT issues, retagging, not yet located flagging etc.)
Assist with inventory reporting, reconciliations and ensuring property movements are reflected in systems as needed.
Collaborate with the Logistics team to identify and resolve issues and system discrepancies.
Resolving ad hoc inventory issues/requests (e.g., inventory questions from other regions, client inventory list requests, property system archive investigations, system activities to support transfer of property for select tours, etc.)
Help coordinate the process of moving inventory selected for transfer to third parties, record details and report on progress of movement.
Work as needed with CTG to help refine new reports and IT applications to support key initiatives required by Logistics.
Assist with the cleanse of bad data through collaboration with warehouse supervisors/managers
Support with Inventory reporting as needed- for the Global Ops Director and Regional Operations Director
Act as a source for best practice with regard to JDE for the Logistics team
Other projects and tasks as assigned by the Head of Logistics, Inventory Analyst and/or Logistics Managers
The Candidate
Excellent IT Skills (excel, word and PowerPoint). An excellent understanding of Christie’s systems – especially JDE. Tableau not critical but would be beneficial.
High degree of organization skills with ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up promptly.
Strong problem solving and information management skills.
Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
Excellent communication and people skills, including superior written and spoken communication.
Proven time/task management
Ability to work professionally and responsibly with all other areas within the business.
