Position Overview
In Office- Maplewood NJ

Qualified applicants should have computer skills, be detail-oriented, able to successfully multi- task and work well both independently and with a team. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Responsibilities

• Greeting policyholders at the office to assist them with everything from taking payments, collecting signatures on documents, answering policy questions, taking photos of vehicles when needed, providing quotes and assisting with apps and setting up claims.
• Helping prospects and policyholders on the phone with everything from taking payments, answering policy questions, offering discounts, providing quotes and setting up claims
• Assisting Account Manager on sales and service activities such as "onboarding" new policyholders and collecting documents
• Working with Account Manager on developing new sources of referrals including but not limited to planning/ attending local community events in order to develop and deepen community relationships
• Binding new insurance products.
• Handle office financial deposit and mail.
• Responding to customer text messages, handling faxes, responding to mail and email.
• Handling and distributing voicemails.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Positive, outgoing, team-player
• Self-motivated
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Ability to make presentations to potential customers
• Bilingual - Spanish preferred
• Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
• Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)
• Must be able to reliability get to and from Maplewood office.
