Job Title: Dental Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in dental terminology, prosthodontics, and proficient in dental clinic operations. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during patient procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice. Our office is open Tuesday - Thursday 7:45-6:00 and Friday 7:45-5:00.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Take digital X-rays
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently
- Operate 3D scanners for digital impressions
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Assist with medical imaging processes
- Provide support in pediatric dental care
Experience:
- Prior experience in dental assisting preferred
- Proficiency in dental terminology and prosthodontics
- Familiarity with X-ray procedures
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Experience with 3D scanners is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
