Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiation Therapist at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients based on the prescribed treatment plan. They will also monitor patients during treatment, ensure proper radiation safety protocols are followed, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Experience in radiation therapy and knowledge of radiation safety
- Understanding of dosimetry and radiation medicine
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Willingness to comply with hospital policies and procedures
- Valid state licensure as a Radiation Therapist
