RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

• Maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Install and maintain wire and cable, circuit breakers, and fixtures.
• Maintain electrical systems, controls, 240/480 VAC distribution. Single Phase and 3 phase.
• Working knowledge of PLC and AC/DC Motor Drives.
• Working knowledge of MCC
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical control systems and components.
• Ability to train production technicians equipment operation.
• Train new employees
• Oversees execution and assists in execution of Preventive Maintenance schedules
• Works with Maintenance Systems Manager to carryout large scale projects designed to improve maintenance programs at assigned location
• Troubleshoots & determines necessary repair parts, initiates purchase orders & orders parts
• Communicates effectively with management, outside contractors & others regarding needs, repair status, capital project work, etc.
• Maintain clean & orderly work area
• Operates forklifts & other material handling/lift equipment
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Competent / comfortable with use of information technology
• High school graduate, or equivalent
• Minimum three (3) years experience in industrial maintenance role
• Demonstrated abilities in electrical, welding mechanical and fabrication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, etc.
