What You'll Do:
Performs as a nursing assistant within the care management team under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Performs delegated nursing tasks for which competence is demonstrated through the Care Partner skills checklist. Is oriented and regularly works in multiple patient care areas with diverse patient populations, staff and physicians. Floats primarily among the inpatient units; Floats to other areas as requested within scope of verified competencies.

Unit Description: West 10 is a 24-bed acute care unit. Patients here include orthopedic, including orthopedic spinal fusion, plastics, ear/nose/throat surgery or those recovering from trauma. Nurses also care for hematology patients with sickle cell disease and bleeding disorders and oncology patients with viral illnesses. Some hematology.
