Job OverviewProvide Network Engineering services in support of software modernization efforts for multiple programs at Kessel Run (Hanscom AFB, MA).
Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based
Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Manage the network infrastructure, maintaining its lifecycle, and ensuring optimal performance.
- Support the development of system security documentation on both new and previously deployed capabilities.
- Help to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems by identifying risks and working with the appropriate stakeholders to implement a response.
- Providing corrective action plans, identification, and resolution of service outages in accordance with problem severity and priority.
- Work with IT manager to provide the necessary components to successfully operate the network topology and manage the equipment in a secure manner that abides by the Authority-To-Operate (ATO).
- Work with various devices to include Linux, Mac, Windows, and Cisco switches and firewalls or the equivalent.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience managing the network infrastructure, maintaining its lifecycle, and ensuring optimal performance.
- Proven work experience as a network administrator or technician.
- Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance.
- Occasional travel may be necessary at customer request.
