The Operations Engineering Civil Engineer ensures the government makes the right investment at the right time to provide the maximum life-cycle value at the lowest overall cost.

Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based

• Manages the capture of data and ensures data quality and currency.
• Analyzes all maintenance responses to inform future sustainment and repair actions based on factors such as but not limited to mission risk, maintenance risk and sustainability, and system performance.
• Integrates preventive maintenance resource investments into the life cycle return on investment and risk evaluations.
• Develops an integrated and balanced approach on use of on-site versus programmed engineering opportunities to accomplish proactive work recommended by SMS.
• Documents and reports the optimization strategy and provides for measurability of overall goals and trend improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The license shall be current and renewed as necessary to ensure currency is maintained throughout the life of the contract.
• At least five years' experience in construction or facility maintenance field.
• Completion of WENG 200, 400, 550, 555; WMGT 341, 331 and 417.
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
• Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
• Valid state Driver's License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
• Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
