Job Responsibilities

• Attentively monitor the process to ensure equipment is performing and parts are cosmetically to expectations.
• Read part drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure parts are cut to customer specification
• Measure and inspect dimensions of in-process and finished product using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications for quality (proficient use of calipers, height and thickness gages).
• Set Up - mechanically prepare the machine for operation including movement of machine bed, mounting tools on spindle and mounting rollers and cutting tools.
• Maintain a clean work area.

Your Skills

• Experience in the setup and operation of CNC equipment.
• Excellent mechanical ability demonstrated by past employment, education or work you do when not at work (for example, auto maintenance and repair) .
• Proficient math and computer skills
