Job Description :

To provide overall support to the Children’s Ministry at CrossWay’s Campus as a team member directly reporting to Director of Children’s Ministry.

We are seeking a compassionate, administrative leader who loves Jesus and children.

RESPONSIBLITIES :

• Coordinate Facilitate and Lead Kid Venture weekend in person worship experience (nursery through 5th grade)
• Recruit, equip, and lead volunteer teams at designated campus location
• Work with the team to engage digital ministry, social media connection, and online volunteers
• Support CrossWay’s Children’s ministry vision
• Schedule all children’s ministry volunteers at designated campus location
• Work with campus pastor and staff
• As part of the Kidventure Team plan, prepare, equip, and lead curriculum and ministry resources for all campuses through central services
• As part of the KidVenture Team plan, prepare, equip, and lead mid week resources for leaders, kids, and families
• Assist in coordinating and attending CrossWay Church Outreach events
• Recruit leaders for summer ministry events
• Be skilled in administration, organization, and problem solving

Other Responsibilities :

• Attend staff chapel each week
• Attend weekly Children’s Ministry meetings with our Children’s Ministry Director
• Communicate weekly with volunteers
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, engaging and God-honoring environment
• Teach in various classrooms as needed
• Pray for the volunteers, the children, and their families

Requirements :

• Post high school education
• Previous child education studies or work experience with children is preferred
• Complete and pass state background check as administered by CrossWay Church
