Solid Rock Church is looking to expand! This will be a dual position with the Church and Solid Rock Christian Academy (K3-th grade), which is a ministry of the Church.

Position : Children’s Pastor

Qualifications :

• Born-again Christian with a calling to ministry
• Love for children and families
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to build and lead volunteer teams
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two years of experience working within church ministry

Responsibilities : Program Oversight :

Program Oversight :

• Manage all programming and ministry for children (birth to 5th grade), including Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, summer programs, and special events.
• Choose and prepare curriculum for each age group.
• Create engaging environments that encourage spiritual growth.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and lead volunteer teams.
• Develop strategies to reach and assimilate new children and families.
• Plan and oversee special events (VBS, Fall Festival, etc.)

Position : Receptionist

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner.
• Help check in and out visitors on campus.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Provide administrative support to administration.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a related field preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work as a team in the front office
