Key Responsibilities

Ministry Development and Leadership : Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive ministry program that engages high school students, college-aged individuals, and young adults in spiritual growth, worship, fellowship, and service opportunities.

Discipleship : Foster deep, meaningful relationships with young people, guiding them in their spiritual journey and helping them grow in their faith and understanding of Biblical truths.

Teaching : Develop and deliver engaging, relevant Biblical teaching and sermons that resonate with young people, addressing their needs and challenges.

Outreach and Evangelism : Lead efforts to reach unchurched students and young adults, integrating them into the life of the church and encouraging their participation in ministry activities.

Mentorship and Leadership Training : Identify, recruit, and train volunteers and potential leaders within the youth and young adult community, providing mentorship and discipleship to empower them for service.

Pastoral Care : Offer pastoral care, counseling, and support to students and young adults, including guidance in personal, spiritual, and ethical matters.

Event Planning : Coordinate and execute various ministry events, retreats, mission trips, and community service projects.

Collaboration : Work closely with church leadership and other ministry teams to ensure alignment with the church’s vision and goals.

Participate in church-wide events and activities. Administrative Duties : Manage the student and young adults ministry budget, communications, and scheduling.

Ensure all ministry activities comply with church policies and legal requirements regarding safety and child protection.

Qualifications : - A bachelor’s degree in theology, biblical studies, or a related field is preferred.- Strong teaching and communication skills, with the ability to connect with young people.

• A heart for evangelism and discipleship, with a proven track record in ministry growth.- Excellent organizational, planning, and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to the doctrinal beliefs and values of the Southern Baptist Convention.- A lifestyle that reflects a biblical standard of personal conduct and a mature Christian faith.
