New Walk Church is simply an incredible church in an incredible location. We are located just north of Tampa and are only minutes from Clearwater Beach and an hour from Walt Disney World.

We are in a booming area of new home growth with new people joining the community daily. Our church is passionate about reaching those far from God and goes to great lengths to see life change happen every weekend through our incredible services and Kids Ministry, and each Wednesday at our Student Ministry.

With that said, we want to give you a chance to get a feel for what we’re like here at New Walk.

Alright, you’ve done a bit of the homework and are still interested? Great, let’s talk specifics about this role.

This position will serve as an extension of our Next Gen team with a focus on outreach and large group teaching within our Student Ministry.

You’ll be working alongside a dedicated team to help us build out, develop, and grow our Student Ministries. You’ll be helping to develop and teach at the large group portion of our YTH nights, recruiting and training leaders, creating amazing atmospheres, developing trips and events, and much, much more.

You won’t be alone in this though, you’ll be a part of an amazing Next Gen team of 5 others. New Walk is in an amazing season of growth with over kids on average each week in our student ministry and we need a dynamic leader to help guide the team as we take this ministry to the next level with impactful and moving large group teaching experiences.

We do need to make sure we cover a few of the basics on our end in terms of your qualifications too. We need someone with a dynamic ability to teach the word of God to the next generation, the ability to strategically think, and organizational skills as you lead an amazing team of volunteers.

You will in many ways serve as the primary communicator to both Middle School and High School students, be able to work alongside our small group coordinator, and be able to troubleshoot problems along the way.

You will be comfortable speaking to large crowds of students, communicating effectively to parents and volunteers, and have a deep desire to continue to learn and grow.

For this position we are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years in full-time ministry, but with a passion to learn and grow in your skills alongside our Next Gen Director.
